This is about a week old, but I am finally able to get it up here. It’s also kind of repetitive, so I won’t hold it against you if you stop partway through.
Calvin decided it was time for him to start earning his keep, so he gave himself a chore.

Who’s next?
Toddlers are so great at having fun.
Calvin’s first words were about a month and a half ago, witnessed by my cousins, Julene and Carmen, and my sister. It was “bye-bye”, as he waved goodbye. It has since turned into a more whispered “buh-buh”, but it still means the same thing. He also says “wow/woah” at totally appropriate times, so I am counting that as a word too. And the third, and best, is this one caught on camera:
“Ow!”
Curtains are just so much fun!
This morning Calvin has been playing so nicely on his own. Here’s a little snippet of what he’s been up to. Notice how he nods to affirm himself when he gets a piece where he wants it. Silly dude!
Calvin can do the playground all by himself!
