This year I am ever so thankful for old friends. When Thanksgiving rolled around, we had been in town for a mere two days, but were invited to two different Thanksgiving dinners!

The first was with family friends of Tim’s family. We had actually stayed with them a year ago when we came to town to visit Jordan. They live quite close to the river so we went for a little walk after lunch.

The second dinner was hosted by an old high school friend of mine. The food was delicious and the company was fun!

We definitely don’t feel alone out here, and for that we feel truly blessed.
